The location of DMDI has been designed to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities, particularly those who are wheelchair bound.
Key points. 1. There are no stairs to our unit 9 or to the building at 1175 Toorak Road Camberwell. Ramp access is available at the front of the building.
2. Doors to unit 9 are designed for wide access.
3. Easy access is available within the practice to either of the diagnostic rooms.
4. Access is available via our basement lift. If you require this access please call the practice to make sure that we can organise this for you.
Hearing Impaired
If you are hearing impared, DMDI has both a static and mobile loop that opperates with in the facility. Please note you will need to remove your hearing aids prior to diagnostic treatment, however, you can use your devices before and after so that you fully understand the proceedures and requirements. (Turn on your T swtch when you come into the practice)
Younger Children:
The user friendly nature of the technology, together with the minimal radiation dose, makes the centre of great advantage when imaging the younger patient.
The state of the art 3 D Accuitomo has settings that in 5.5 seconds will enable accurate capture of the diagnostic image for the anxious child or those who like to wriggle.
