These are simple precautions to ensure that your experience with us is very pleasant.


Please note the following:

·                All procedures in our clinic attract a Medicare Rebate. Only with a authorised referral.

·                 If not eligible for bulk billing, some co-payment will be required on the day.

·                DMDI does not issue invoice.

·                Payment can be made using Visa, Master-card or EFTPOS.

·                All health care card holders, pensioners and DVA patients will be bulk billed.

·                You will leave with a CD to give your referring Dentist or Doctor;  or a copy can be issued for your own records, if required.

·                On many occasions we will send the report prepared by our Radiologist to your referrer with a CD.

·                Please note we do not print film.

  • You will need to let us know how you wish to be rebated.
  • All procedures are subject to an appointment unless we have time for walk in patients.
  • This practice is accredited by the Australian Government.
  • All devices used are included on the register of therapeutic goods in Australia.
  • This practice is registered with the Victorian Government. (Department of Health Services).
  • Only professionally qualified and accredited personnel work in this practice.
  • Only green power is used in this practice.

Fees charged by DMDI are consistent with providing the highest quality, 3D diagnostic imaging services. All patients settle their accounts on the day of service.

Fees vary between imaging modalities and patients are advised of the cost before their examination. Private patients will pay a gap beyond the Medicare refund. We accept credit cards (no American Express or Diners), and provide EFTPOS as a preferred payment option allowing full settlement of accounts on the day. Please note cheques are not accepted.

The Medicare ‘schedule fee’ represents what the Federal Government is prepared to contribute towards the cost of health services. It does not, nor was it ever intended to, cover the full cost of providing diagnostic imaging services. Our fees are set to cover the costs of providing quality 3D diagnostics including individual cross sectional analysis and to satisfy the requirements of the referring practitioner. The ‘gap’ is the difference between these two fees.

Patients who anticipate financial difficulty are asked to discuss their situation with our office administration staff when making an appointment.

Many of the procedures requested by the referrers are bulk billed, however, we will inform you of the gap payment requirements when you call to make an appointment.
