Services The services offered by Dental & Medical Diagnostic Imaging (DMDI) are of the highest quality together with using state of the art technology that is unique to Australia. DMDI charges private fees that reflect this position. Medicare schedule fees do not reasonably reflect the cost of performing diagnostic 3D procedures and there may be an out-of-pocket expense associated with some procedures. 1. OPG/Cephalometric Examinations are available for bulk billing purposes when the referral indicates a request for digital x-ray of the full mouth or a general survey of the teeth. 2. Cone Beam CT Examinations for both the Dental & Medical professions. Please note the practice provides services to - Private patients, Workcover, TAC,Health Care Card Holders, Pensioners and DVA. All referred patients will have the ability to claim a Medicare rebate. All referred patients who hold a DVA card, Pension and Health Care Card will be bulk billed. All private patients will have a contribution payment, to be paid on the day of the diagnostic service, if they are not eligible for bulk billing . Invoices are not issued to patients, payment is via EFTPOS, Debit card, Visa or Master Card on the day of service. All diagnostic imaging will be reported by a qualified and registered Radiologist. The report will be completed and sent to the referring practitioner within 24 hours of diagnostic examination, or earlier if requested by the referrer.
